SGI O2 photograph: "SGI O2 front.jpg" by Thomas Kaiser, via Wikimedia Commons, licensed CC BY-SA 3.0. Source: commons.wikimedia.org/wiki/File:SGI_O2_front.jpg. Modified: background removed, resized, and composited into the desk scene. The modified image (img/o2.png) is shared under the same CC BY-SA 3.0 license.
Framed photo: "Nova", the guide character from Truman Boyes' options tutorial (own artwork, cropped).
Frankie Baby photo: Truman Boyes' own photo of Frankie Baby (black French bulldog). Cropped and resized (img/frankie2.jpg).
Frankie's bark (click the Frankie Baby photo): from "2 small dogs bark and growl" (sound #1060) by Joseph Sardin, BigSoundBank / LaSonotheque, released under CC0 (public domain). Trimmed to ~1 s, pitched down slightly and normalized (audio/frankie_bark.mp3).
Window: built from Truman Boyes' own segmented layers of a rainy night-street window (window frame, pane view, curtain, streetlight glow; img/window/). Animated rain, glass beads and lightning are drawn in code.
DOOM (IRIX "Doom" window): engine is cloudflare/doom-wasm, a WebAssembly port of Chocolate Doom, which is based on the DOOM source code released by id Software. It is free software distributed under the GNU General Public License v2 (or later); NO WARRANTY. The build served here (doom/websockets-doom.js + .wasm) was compiled unmodified from upstream commit source except for Emscripten build flags in configure.ac (updated EXPORTED_RUNTIME_METHODS, memory growth, no debug info). Complete corresponding source: github.com/cloudflare/doom-wasm; the build-flag change is the single EMFLAGS line documented in doom/BUILD.txt. Copyright © 1993-1996 id Software, Inc.; © 2005-2014 Simon Howard and Chocolate Doom contributors; © Cloudflare, Inc.
WADs: DOOM Shareware (doom1.wad v1.9, Episode 1 "Knee-Deep in the Dead") © id Software — the shareware episode is freely redistributable in unmodified form; DOOM is a trademark of id Software / ZeniMax. No commercial (registered/Ultimate/DOOM II) data is used. Freedoom: Phase 1 (freedoom1.wad v0.13.0) © Contributors to the Freedoom project, freedoom.github.io, distributed under the BSD 3-clause license. The Doom desktop icon is original art drawn in CSS.
SoftWindows window: an original HTML/CSS/JS simulation of a PC boot and a Windows-3.11-style desktop (Program Manager, Notepad, Calculator, Clock, File Manager, Klondike Solitaire). No Microsoft or Insignia code, bitmaps or icons are used; all art is recreated in CSS. Windows is a trademark of Microsoft; SoftWindows was a product of Insignia Solutions. Not affiliated.
Everything else (desk, CRT, lamp, keyboard, simulated IRIX desktop) is drawn with HTML/CSS/JS. IRIX, SGI, Silicon Graphics and O2 are trademarks of their respective owners; this is an affectionate fan simulation, not affiliated with them.
Demos & jurassic.sys: original WebGL code (vanilla WebGL, tiny in-house toolkit gl3d.js; no third-party 3D library). The Buttonfly-style launcher, Aquarium, chrome cube logo, starfield and the fsn-style file system navigator are original homages to classic SGI demos and fsn; no SGI code, models or assets are used. The "magic word" cartoon is original pixel art. MoviePlayer-style window embeds a YouTube video via youtube-nocookie.com; the video belongs to its uploader.
Keyboard and O2Cam-style webcam: original CSS drawings inspired by SGI granite peripherals; no SGI logos used. Capture feed is simulated (no camera access).
